As I mentioned on the main about page, I have a persona (or sona) character named Cafeko! This is her. I originally conceptualized her for the sake of vtubing (not sure if that'll actually be happening...but I would like to eventually make her into a Live2D model anyways) but she's kinda evolved into a sort of quasi-oc-sona-thing. (I once saw someone use making a sona as a way to help boost self-esteem, so I made her cute!) She usually represents myself in my work, but I like tinkering around with her as a somewhat-standalone character as well. I also use her as a stand-in for me when it comes to self-inserts or yume stuff. She's versatile!
Anyway, here is some lore about her!
She's a cafe/coffeeshop owner who is able to see and speak to ghosts (she's seen them since she was a child). Because of her ability, she gets lots of spectral guests at her cafe, but she'd prefer to have more human customers.
She's human and practices magic - she uses magic to make her food and drinks edible to her ghostly customers. However, she's not really classified as a witch. Her longtime exposure to the supernatural has started giving her some oddities in terms of her body, such as her eyes glowing in the dark and her shadow not quite acting the way it should be.
She lives in a two-story building with her cafe on the ground floor and her living space on the upper floor. Her cafe also has a small bookstore.
Unfortunately for her, ghosts don't have money, so she's usually broke. She often takes on odd jobs to make ends meet, up to and including housework, helping at other stores, solving mysteries, etc.
She has a thoughtful, kind, and somewhat sardonic and lazy personality. She gets sleepy easily and is typically found napping at her cafe's counter.
Due to her supernatural ties, she never had many friends. But she's not lonely...right?
Thanks to her kindness towards her ghostly guests, she's gained a sort of protection from beyond the grave. Good luck and may God help you to anyone planning to rob her store.
